The Global Warming Swindle

I just finished watching an hour and 15 minutes long google video titled 'The Global Warming Swindle'. It's a documentary discussing Global Warming and the overwhelming evidence against it. Regardless of what you believe, I think that everyone should watch this video, because after all isn't science about finding truth?

I know that an hour and 15 minutes is long, but I watched it several segments and treated it like part of my science course.

I'm putting a small version of it below, but if you're really planning on watching it all the way through then go to the original link which is

Moderngeek coming to you through audio!

Ok, so I've finally made my mp3 recording, after weeks and weeks of saying that it would soon be done. Actually, what inspired me to do it was the story of the Virginia Tech Shootings yesterday. The story made me cringe to my very core, and I got this feeling of being tied down with all these bad laws, and as a result watching more people be killed. When you listen, you'll understand what I'm trying to say.

To go to the recording go to

Things like this scare me

*Gasps* I'm off the front page! Yeah, I'm sorry for being a lazy bum when it comes to blogging in the past two weeks, but I've had many things to do.

Hehe, I went to my Spanish class last friday with a brand new notebook cover that said

" I participated in Gizmodo's "Boycott the RIAA" camaign. The entire month of March I didn't not buy one piece of music legally!"

I participated in the undead Friday 13th war on dragonfable.

I have obtained my dragon egg and will soon attain the ultimate class of dragonlord!"

Yeah, I got looks. The last two topics both refer to an online RPG game I play called dragonfable.

So, I read yesterday that "some university researchers with the federal government's blessing want to scrap the internet and start over". When I read this I sort of froze up in a petrified state and a feeling of horror came over me. If this project really showed promises of succeeding and I would start standing out infront of my state's capital with a sign that says "Leave the Internet alone!".  And it would be me, along with hundreds of others.

Now, I'm going to show you something that I wasted a full ten minutes on doing nothing but playing with it. Just click HERE  and prepare to have the next ten minutes of your life wasted.

Vendian.org has a very cool clock that shows the time in terms of tiny dots that represent seconds. Although very cool, I got kind of depressing feeling watching my life ticking away in the form of dots.

Death Note

I think I wrote once about Death Note before, but I'm going to again.

default

Yagami Light*: a brilliant highschool student, who is tired of all the violence and crime in the world. Suddenly he finds a notebook titled "Death Note" that gives him the power to kill who-so-ever he chooses, by writing down their name in the Death Note. When he starts using it to kill off criminals with the intent of making himself a "god" of a perfect world, the police hire a mysterious individual named "L" to track Light down. The battle of wits between Light an L begins, where if either one slips up and let's the other know his name, then he is dead.

This anime has challenged me mentally from episode 1. I know that Light is evil, and must be stopped, but at the same time I so clearly see how his thought process is working, and how he really is trying to get rid of evil, although in the wrong way. And, the mental battles between Light and "L" are amazing. Even if you've never once in your life watched anime, I'm really sure you would love this. Just pop over to youtube.com** to watch it online, or realitylapse.com to download it. The anime is up to episode 23, with episodes being released on each Tuesday @ 7:30 JST(Japan standard time), you can usually get the episode with english subbs on kuro-hanasubs.com by at least Thursday morning.

This is my latest piano piece, that I've played. It was really hard for me, because of the 3 against 2 on the second page. Just go to thoughts-of-music.blospot.com to hear it. It's the top post.

*In Japan last names are listed first. So, his friends call him "Light"

**Note: Youtube has been recently removing anime from it's site due to copyright issues, so, you'd probably have more luck downloading from realitylapse.com
