Moderngeek coming to you through audio!

Ok, so I've finally made my mp3 recording, after weeks and weeks of saying that it would soon be done. Actually, what inspired me to do it was the story of the Virginia Tech Shootings yesterday. The story made me cringe to my very core, and I got this feeling of being tied down with all these bad laws, and as a result watching more people be killed. When you listen, you'll understand what I'm trying to say.

whoa. That wasn't boring. most things like this are boring. like, yawn boring. but I think it's really cool that we have someone on poohblogs that can and will express her own feelings on more mature things. And it's great to have someone who cares about whats going on in the world, and understands it.
that's so awesome! =)

I concur with zebra-fan entirely. I'd also like to say that you definitely have a voice for radio (not necessarily a face for radio, mind you) for several reasons. You keep talking steadily, you only talk about things that you care about, and you voice your honest opinion without the concern of offending others. (there's nothing more annoying to me than when someone on the radio says "i'm sorry if you don't agree, or if this offends you" everytime they open their mouth) I also strongly agree with the Kentucky incident you cited in which the student started shooting and another student pulled a gun and shot him to limit the injury/death count. If you have a concealed weapon liscense, and you keep your weapon concealed (safely) and only use it as a last resort, then I see nothing wrong with that.

Thanks guys. Somebody else that I sent this to said that it sounded like I had a Canadian accent. 0_0
I can't stand it when somebody says "I'm sorry if [INSERT SOMETHING HERE]" because it removes all meaning from what they're about to say.

Yeah, the Virgina Tech shooting has been a horrible event in our history. But, I wish at the moment I could go through with recording myself, like you did, with out me saying over and over "I sound like THAT? Wow, nuh uh.." yeah I'm never going to end up on radio at that rate.
