   Augh, for the last hour I've been trying to find a way to fix Itunes(Apple's ipod software) so that it will stop giving a 4000 error when I try to burn CDs. I've tried every single possible known fix found on the internet but still no. I've ended up converting all my Itunes music(which is ALOT) to mp3 format so I can burn it using something else. Only problem is that doing this takes AGES. It's on file 4 of 249, and it takes about two minutes to convert one file. And all to burn one CD. 

     Anyway, I'm so excited about Halloween! My little siblings are going trick or treating but I'm not because 1) I look like I'm fifteen so when I show up at a door with a bunch little kids people look at me like "What is she doing here" 2) I can show off my great Google Costume better if I home and give out candy, with a friend whose going as Captain Cook. and 3) The only candy I like is chocolate and my younger sister doesn't like chocolate that much so she'll just give all her chocolate to me!

I got up this morning and boy, was I surprised! I love the new way of administrating pages! The only downside is that now my page looks slightly screwed up, because of the drop down member list, but I'll try to fix that in a minute. There's also new layouts to choose from! It's slightly strange that the update of poohblogs is timed with the update of Firefox 2.0. Maybe that was planned???

   I upgraded to Firefox 2.0 today and I'm amazed! Many new features, and it's much faster now. 

Anyway, goto go and fix up my template now,

EDIT: Uh oh, looks like all posts that were on the front page last night are gone. That's not good. I wonder it that'll be fixed or if it's just something we'll just have to live with?

SECOND EDIT: It's fixed now. Yippe!

  I've gone font insane, and have been downloading fonts all over the place. I LOVE medieval and fantasy fonts. An example of one of my favorite fonts is below. It's called Carmilla. I also love the quote that I used. :)

    Once again if any of you know about any good fantasy books/series please tell me!

    I got Firefox 2.0 today and it is AMAZING. It gives browsing a whole new experience!

    I changed my layout as you can see. I was trying to make it fire colors but it didn't exactly turn out that way. 

   I have a new facination of dragons. Yes I know they're not real, but still I think they're cool. I love all fantasy in general. If anybody knows about any good fantasy books please tell me!

   The final version of Internet Explorer 7.0 was released last night, and digg.com when crazy. A new tech article is submited every five seconds(only a small fraction makes the front page though) and I swear, every other article was about the release of IE 7.  But, I got up this morning and checked the front page and there was a post talking about how in less then 24 hours a huge hole had been found in IE. Now, I'm not going to rant and go on about Microsoft's browser, but seriously, if a huge security breech can be found in 24 hours how many do you think can be found in the four years 'til IE 8?

       Exactly one and a half years ago I got my first blog and started blogging. It's exciting. In one and a half years I've aquired a solid knowledge of HTML code, been introduced to graphic making, worked with ten billion pieces of software, started learning C++, defended Mozilla Firefox against countless people, learned a billion computer odd and ends, and made my declaration of being a  geek. That's alot for only 18 months!

      I totally wiped out my old site and started again today. The link is thedies-irae.blogspot.com. I did the ENTIRE thing ALL by myself. I spent about two hours on it. Anyway, it's done and I'm VERY proud of it. 

      Someone suggested to me that I should send Google a picture of my Google search engine costume(See below post for pictures, and details). So that's what I'm going to do. 

     My head is now spinning with thoughts of <div> tags, and <span> tags.

It's been almost a week since I blogged last. That must be a world record for me! 

It's Friday the Thirteenth! Be extra careful today! LOL! 

For Halloween I'm being(don't laugh) the Google Search Engine. I've made my costume using ONLY things around the house. I'm going to wear this Google logo hat that I made. Here it is

 There a head strap behind it. I'm not going to go Trick-or-treating this year because 1) I'm getting a bit old for it and 2) I'll get more questions about my costume if I stay home and give out candy! My little siblings will go though. 

 For all you Firefox users out there(You ROCK!) Firefox 2.0 is supposed to be released any day now! Yay!

 Google bought Youtube.com(One of the most popular sites on the web. It's an internet video site) just the other day for 1.65 billion dollars. Very exciting!

There's this neat thing I learned how to do the other day. You take regular popsicle stick and weave them together to make a shape. Then when you throw this "bomb" at someone it explodes and popsicle sticks fly all over the place. It's neat. Some pictures are below.

I ordered a book of Lord of the Rings solos for Violin and Piano, so I've been working on that.

Ah, the weekend is here at last. On Monday I always wake up feeling bright and energized and my energy level declines all through the week until Friday when I just crash. I WAKE UP on Friday's feeling sleepy.

Aparently IE 7.0 is supposed to be released sometime this month. Pretty exciting news considering is was supposed to be released the SUMMER of 2005!! So, it's a year and a half late.

       I'm now completely obsessed with The Lord of the Rings. In particular the movie soundtrack. I've always loved big dramatic minor music, such as Carmina Burana by Carl Off. Part of why I like that kind of music is because I feel it describes my personality(Dark and strong) and when I listen to minor music my imagination soars. But anyway, LOTR music has completely captured my imagination. 

       I realized the other day that.....I'm only in seventh grade, and yet I have so many responsibilities. People always expecting me to be a leader, and make things work. Sounds stupid I know, but it was kind of shocking to me. 

    
     My own interpretation of LOTR is that the ring represents power. And just as the ring takes hold of people who possess it so does power corrupt those who have it. No matter how good a persons intentions are the ring still takes hold of their soul in the end. 

     People think I'm strange, because I love music and computers. But, in the end does it really matter what they think? We have limited time on this earth, and we should spend that time paving the way for future generations, not worrying about what some ignoramous think about us.
