The button Louey-cat requested

Whew, finally finshed the button LoueyCat requested. It took me forever because I had to HAND DRAW the stripes on it using the "pen" feature. Took me ages to get it right. Anyway here it is.

I also put a FAVICON on my blog. Look up at the top of the browser window to where it shows the URL of the page and you'll see it. It's a firefox logo. Cool huh?

Elizabeth'sBlogs problem

Hey all, today is my birthday. I'm turning twelve.

I just don't know what to say about the Elizabeth's blogs problem. It is possible that she may have inadvertantly deleted her account when she was trying to do something like change her password or fiddle with the settings on her blog. OR if she has a younger brother, or there's a todler in the house they may have found the computer when Elizabeth had left her administration pages open and the younger sibling may have accidently deleted her account. I would just say to make another account under the same name.

I got up this morning and made Elizabeth's button she requested. Here it is!

Template change(finally)

Ok, I FINALLY got a template I was satisfied with after thirty minutes of fiddling around with the colors. This layout is the first one in a LONG while that doesn't have black as a major color in it. I especially like how the orange links contrast against the red background.

I also, updated my "about me" page. Go look at it!

'm BACK!

Hello everybody! I'm BACK! The piano camp was great(even though I had the most annoying roommate). So I wasn't able to get a connection during my trip but Dad was able to keep me pretty well updated but still, has anything happened in the past week? Any trolls, birthdays, or really exciting news? I came home and fired up my laptop I found out my browser had corrupted so I had to spend forever fixing it. A nice little welcome home surprise. Anyway you grin and bear it when those things happen.

Don't worry for the remainder of the year I'm not going on another trip where I won't have internet access.

Note: Hello members that joined on or before July 9! I am Moderngeek, and I'm obsessed with computers. What's something interesting about you!

My review of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man's chest

Hello all, I just got back from Pirates of the Caribbean: dead man's chest. First of all I want to say that POTC is SO popular in my town right now that in order to get tickets we had to buy tickets at 10:00 AM when the movie started at 2:40 PM. Ok so anyway. Here's my review.

Note: This review is not directed toward anyone on this site. I purely writing this from a reviewers point of view and am going to post it on my other website.

**************

I can honestly call Pirates of the caribbean: the curse of the black pearl the best movie ever made. Jack Sparrow is witty and his comments leave you laughing hilariously. So of course after going through great lengths to see POTC: curse of the black pear in Theaters and even later downloading it illegally from torrentspy.com I of course had to see POTC: dead man's chest. Watching POTC 2 was a truly terrifying experiance. I dont regret it of course of POTC 2 is NOT for the faint of heart. Now I know you all will read this and think "hah well I can handle it!" but think twice about that. Can you sit without flinching watch Jack Sparrow as he stands chained to a mast infront of a giant blood sucking monster with huge teeth and sucking tentacles that's out to eat Jack? While thunderous sounds play in your ear? Really think about it. Are you able to do that without getting a quiver in your chest. If you can't then I DO NOT reconmend seeing POTC 2. Be honest with yourself. Those things said I would like to say that I really don't think POTC 2 was up to the standard of POTC 1. In the first one Jack is funny and witty and the movie while having some scary parts is suitable to my seven year old sister to watch. It's a great plot with lots action, and the costumes are great. In the second one Jack is not as funny and witty and the movie is MUCH more dark. In no. 1. sure there were life threatening experiances but the overall plot(unlike POTC2) was not one that involved death. With POTC2 however the entire plot revolves around death and makes the movie much more dark. It could have used more parts that made you laugh. Though it may seem like I didn't like POTC2 I truly did and it is on my list of top ten movies!

**************

I leave tomorrow at 10:00 for my camp. I'm going to take my portable laptop but I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to be able to get an internet connection.(but I probably wil be able) Also, if I get a connection then I won't be posting/commenting much because of lack of time so just know that I'm probably surfing site but just not saying anything.

The internet and the people who love it deserve a chance to.

I think most of you know this now but for those of you who don't I'll tell you. Computers and the Internet are going to be my career. Computers are what I'm good at so it makes sense for me to have that as my career. Right? Unfortunetly some people don't think so. When I tell people about the age 40 that I want to be a computer geek they get this annoying little smile/smirk on their faces and say "oh, but computers aren't really a profession. You should choose something with more "history" to it." Argh! I can't STAND it when people do this. Computer geeks make ALOT of money and the Computer world is just as much a profession as any other area. Why can't people give the Internet and the people who love it a chance? They just automatically assume that because it's something the "kids" do then it somehow "doesn't count". Not surprisingly the people who say this kind of thing are always people who fell behind in the internet upgrade and still live in the past, so because they don't do this "computer thing" they just say it's not a legitimate profession. Well, I'm going to stick by what I say no matter what other people tell me.

Fourth of July banner and worlds dumbest law

Ok, I made a fourth of July banner. Not my best work but there wasn't alot I could do with it. Anyway here it is.

Please click the link to see the picture because if I post it here it will mess up my blog template.

So there's that. Also, did you know there's a law against Spam!(the email kind) Seriously, just a moment ago(before I deleted it all) I had 35 pieces of spam that arrived over night in my spam box. I guess that means the police should arrest 35 companies. Really, the law against spam is probably the dumbest law I've seen so far.

Anyway, have a happy fourth of July and don't get hurt with fireworks(I know that sounds preachy but I already have a big bruise on my leg because of being hit by a firework.

Piano camp!*does a little dance*

So, about in January I registered for this piano camp(I play piano) in North Carolina. It's for sixth grade and up. The only problem was that I'm in sixth grade in my state but in NC I would be in fifth grade. SO to be able to get in I had to send an audition tape to them. And I got accepted! The camp starts this coming Sunday(I'm flying there with a friend) and then ends on July 14 at 8:30. So my Dad will pick me up at that time and we will drive back. The only thing is that it's a ten hour drive so we would get back at the EARLIEST at 6:30 the next day. And Dad would have had to drive all night which is just not possible. So I think we're going to stay in a hotel in North Carolina overnight! I am so excited! I love staying in hotels.
