The (kind of) hidden meaning behind the Incredibles movie

   You know the Incredibles movie that came out in 2004? I was thinking about it today, and I realized that the movie is all about "elitism" and the idea that other people shouldn't be able to do and have certain things that the "elites" have. It's not emphasized alot, but the idea is still there. The villian "Syndrome" invents these amazing rocketboots, electro hand, etc. and he wants to sell them to everybody that there would no need for superheroes anymore. The Incredible family is fighting him to keep him from doing this. But as I said, this point isn't stressed in the movie. 

   For those of you who watch Naruto it is a great day for you!!! The fillers have FINALLY ended and Naruto Shippuuden has finally begun!!!

I was starting to get depressed about those fillers. I thought they'd never end.

I never really got into Naruto, wish I did most of my friends are and they try so hard to get me into it, never works but it seems like a good show/graphic novel (Yeah, I know the graphic novels are way different than the show, ah well.) But you could be onto something on the whole incredibles thing there.

IMO the thing that make the difference for Naruto is whether you watch it in English or in Japanese. After watching every single episode in Japanese I went back and tried to watch my favorite one in English. I was only able to listen for about five minutes, before the English voices drove me insane.

I agree entirely on the issue of the English voice casting. They did a terrible job of choosing voice actors for Naruto. The Japanese version is so much better, particularly with Naruto himself, where he doesn't sound like a prepubescent middle school boy like he does in the English version. One more anime where the wisest choice in voice actors wasn't made - Bleach. The voice acting is mediocre at best in the English version, and on top of that - both in Naruto and Bleach the names for attacks or groups of people definitely suck. I would choose the word "shinigami" over "soul reaper" any day.

I've come to the conclusion that English actors simply cannot pronounce Japanese names the right way. Bleach is a great show, but every time I see the words "Soul Reaper" or even worse "Death God" I cringe.

Precisely. Although, there are a few exceptions as far as pronunciation and voice acting choices. Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex are just a few to name off. One thing that angers me about the English version of Naruto - the catch phrase "believe it!" Naruto should never have been released in English.

Ok I can see what you mean, last night I forced my brother and myself to watch Naruto in English. (The only way I can watch it her, they like English Japanese shows better I think) I was very close to punching myself just to make the voices stop.
